👋 You may notice a new — yet familiar — face around Prince Valley Market this summer!

Evan Gappy, son of Prince Valley Market owner Joe Gappy, is spending the summer learning the family business before heading off to college this fall. Evan will be rotating through every area of the market, soaking up knowledge from the incredible team members who help make Prince Valley what it is.

Today, he was learning how to make tamales with some of the talented ladies in our kitchen. Over the coming months, you'll likely spot him throughout the store, learning the ins-and-outs of what it takes to serve our customers and community.

Congratulations on your graduation, Evan! We wish you a wonderful summer and all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter this fall.

🎉 Congratulations to Danielle Harris of Centerline, winner of our Father's Day Grill N' Chill Giveaway! 🎉

Danielle took home a prize basket loaded with a Tomahawk Steak, Prince Valley Market marinated meats, our famous guacamole and salsa, pan dulce, and more.

This giveaway held special meaning for Danielle, whose father passed away last April.

"When I entered, I thought if I won, it would be my dad pulling some strings. Meat was his favorite, and taking us out for steak dinners was always his thing."

This Father's Day, Danielle will be sharing her winnings with family and taking the rest along on her annual Upper Peninsula trip with her mom.

🎉 Congratulations to Harris of Centerline, the winner of our Father's Day Grill N' Chill Giveaway! 🎉

Danielle took home a prize basket packed with everything needed for the ultimate Father's Day feast, including a Tomahawk Steak, Prince Valley Market marinated meats, our world-famous guacamole and salsa, pan dulce and more.

This giveaway carries special meaning for Danielle. Her father passed away last April, making this her second Father's Day without him.

"When I entered, I thought if I won, it would be my dad pulling some strings to make things a little easier for my second Father's Day without him. Meat was his favorite, and taking us out for steak dinners was always his thing."

Danielle wears a silver thumbprint pendant around her neck in memory of her father, and this Father's Day she'll be sharing the prize with her mom, sibling, aunt, and grandmother. The remaining goodies will come along on her annual Upper Peninsula trip with her mom to celebrate her 24th birthday on June 27, where they continue their tradition of hunting for Yooperlite rocks.
