Tomorrow!

There are a few spots left for our upcoming class THIS WEEK 🎟 Expand your knowledge of produce that’s in abundance! In this interactive class, we will learn to make pan-seared squash gnocchi with browned butter sage sauce. We will also learn about the various types of squash, types of cuts, and how the proper use of the right kind of squash can elevate a simple home meal into a restaurant-quality plate.

If you’re looking to increase your culinary skills, learn about local produce, and eat a delicious community meal, join us for this class!

Just another distribution Wednesday - we're receiving all of our members' orders for the shopping window that closed on Sunday.

With 2,336 items ordered, that's a lot of unpacking, counting, and organizing!

Now is the perfect time to order your pumpkin before Halloween! Fill your cart before midnight to get your locally grown pumpkin by next Saturday. That's October 17th 👻

Our growers also have tons of varieties of winter squash, including a spectrum of butternut sizes and some rare types you'll never find at a typical grocer. This post is just a taste of what Iowa can provide!

Visit our fall open house on 10/24. We're planning on cooking up some chili from local ingredients 😋 and we'll have vendors including Iowa Wildcraft, Lula Lather, and Elements of Rejuvenation. IFC producers, there's still time to sign up for a table!

Our last event of 2026 will be the annual Holiday Bazaar on November 28th - Small Business Saturday. Mark your calendars for local gift shopping!
