City Park Farmers Market

City Park Farmers Market A growers focused, local foods based farmers market in the heart of Denver.

Farmers in Delta County are working hard to stay afloat after they experienced a total fruit loss earlier this year. A warm Winter and Spring followed by a big cold snap left one of Colorado’s biggest fruit regions with almost nothing left on their trees.

Swipe to hear from Steve Ela and Regan Choi and Topp Fruits as they navigate the loss, plan for the market year, and feel community coming together to get them all through the season. And hear from a Palisade grower Rancho Durazno who is helping their friends weather the storm.

We’re enormously grateful for these farmers, and the hard work they put in to get nourishing food in our hands!

made some magic at the market this past Saturday - cooking and serving up two dishes made up of ingredients sourced from the market for customers to enjoy for free!

We’re big fans of the Paul and the whole crew, and we’re grateful for their continued dedication to Colorado farmers!

Don’t miss the next chef demo with of and on June 20th. Samples start at 10:30am.

We put out a newsletter yesterday interviewing and about the state of fruit on the Western Slope after Delta County experienced a 100% fruit loss this spring. And we’ll have some social clips up here soon to explain it all!

Tomorrow is partnering with to bring the early season goods, and will be there with piles of sweet sweet early season fruit.

PRODUCE HAUL!

Nick stopped a few customers to check out what y’all are cooking. Lots of good spring veg to take your homemade meals to the next level 🤌

PS - cooking a meal from market goods is a pro-level date move.

PPS - bringing market flowers to that meal is even better

Xiomara and Daniel have been around CPFM since the beginning! Not only do they remain a consistent customer favorite, but they’re also just some of the kindest people around.

Colombian empanadas have a crispy corn fried crust with a variety of fillings inside, making them both gluten free, and insanely delicious.

Try shredded beef potato, vegan mushroom and potato, and sweet plantain and cheese. Sauces top everything off to perfection.

Eric and his fam have been staples at CPFM since the beginning. They make the absolute best tempeh around, and it’s fresh every week at markets.

We’re munching on the buffalo tempeh this week and we can’t put it down. Tempeh is super versatile - it’s awesome seared straight up, dipped in a sauce, crumbled on a salad, or used as a patty. Next time you see Eric ask him his favorite recipe!
