INGREDIENTS
1 lb of Louisiana wild caught medium shrimp, peeled and deveined via LouisianaDirectSeafoodShop.com
4 Tbsp of butter
2 Tbsp of olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
Juice of 2 lemons (~3 oz)
1/2 cup of white wine
½ tsp sea salt, to taste
½ tsp fresh ground pepper, to taste
1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
10 oz angel hair pasta
⅓ cup, fresh parsley, chopped
DIRECTIONS
1. Boil pasta water and cook according to package directions until al dente, reserving 1-2 cups of the pasta water.
2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil and melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the shrimp, then stir and cook for a couple of minutes.
4. Squeeze in the lemon juice. Add the wine, salt and pepper. Stir and reduce the heat to low.
5. Remove the skillet from the heat. Add the pasta and toss, adding a splash of pasta water for desired thickness and texture of sauce..
6. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Garnish with shredded Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, and serve.
