My first time making pickles. Hopefully they will be family approved! It was easier than I thought it would be. Definitely not as time consuming as pickling quail eggs. I learned some things from this first batch using three different recipes. Next quest will be working up the jalapeños and banana peppers.

Happy mail today from Snowfall Poultry! This box arrived very carefully packaged and all eggs intact. I’m so excited to be adding new dna to my peafowl I’m keeping from this years hatch. One unboxed and one more to go! Hmmm wonder what’s in the other box?
