What a difference a year can make 🌱✨

The cut flower garden, veggie garden, herb garden, and even an overflow garden have all been planted! And the best part? Almost everything was grown from seed right here at Hive & Harvest.

Last year, I wasn't even able to fill the entire cut flower garden. This year, we expanded it... and I still ran out of room and had to create an overflow garden! 🌸💛

It's a beautiful reminder of how much growth can happen in just one season. Not only did the gardens grow, but so did my knowledge and confidence. I learned so much from last year's cut flower journey, and it has made such a difference in what was possible this year.

Now comes the exciting part — watching it all grow, bloom, and come to life. 🌿

We're feeling incredibly grateful for the lessons, the progress, and this little piece of land that continues to teach us patience and wonder.

Here's to a season full of flowers, vegetables, herbs, pollinators, and abundance. We can't wait to share it with you! 🐝🌼

We used our long weekend to pour even more love into Hive & Harvest 🌿✨

The garden is planted, Matt built shelves for the new stand, and we added little touches like solar lights, dried lavender, and crystals hanging from the ceiling to make the space feel a little magical. 💫

We really want this stand to feel special — not just a place you stop at, but an experience you enjoy and remember.

We’re not open just yet… but we are getting closer!!

I can feel my baking season kicking in again too 😊
This weekend we smoked some sourdough bread and I fine tuned my matcha cookies, and now I’m even more excited for what’s ahead.

Everything is slowly coming together, and we truly can’t wait to welcome our community here soon.

We finally got some flowers planted, with our fur babies helping every step of the way 🐾🤣

The Cosmos and Snapdragons are officially in the ground! We still have plenty more to plant, but it already feels so exciting seeing the garden begin to come alive.

One of my favorite parts this year is realizing how many more rows we were able to fill with seedlings we started ourselves compared to last season. Growth has happened here in so many different ways...not just in the garden, but in us too 💛

This season feels special already, and we can’t wait to watch it all bloom 🌿

The shed is pretty much complete! ✨🌿

It’s been so special watching this little dream slowly come to life. Now all we need are shelves so we can start filling them with fresh baked goods, flowers, produce, handmade items, and little bits of goodness for our community 💛

We are beyond excited to keep growing this stand on our little slice of heaven. Every step has been built with love, intention, and so many dreams for what this space can become.

Big things are happening at Hive & Harvest 🌿✨

We’ve been hard at work expanding the driveway and building a bigger stand for this season! Every project around here is done with so much love and big dreams for what this little farm can become.

We want each visit to feel special… peaceful, welcoming, and maybe even a little magical 💛

A huge thank you to our amazing neighbors (Cody Corey & Sarah Licari ) for lending us their bobcat and helping make this possible. Community support means everything to us 🙏❤️

While we had hoped to open in May, it’s looking like June will be more realistic as we continue building and preparing everything with care.

The first fresh cut flowers of the season 💜✨

Nothing says spring quite like a vase of freshly cut lilacs filling the house with their sweet scent. These blooms feel nostalgic in the best kind of way... drives with my Mom to cut some, open windows, and sunshine finally returning.

Lilacs have been loved for centuries and are often seen as a symbol of renewal, springtime, and first love. Originally brought to America by European settlers in the 1700s, they’ve been planted near old farmhouses and homesteads for generations… which somehow makes them feel even more magical to me 🌿

Their blooming season is short, which makes these little moments feel extra special.

A little moment from the field 🌼🐝

This bumblebee on a dandelion is such a simple reminder of how important the “little things” really are. Dandelions are one of the first food sources for our pollinators in early spring.... offering nectar and pollen when not much else is blooming.

What some see as a weed… is actually a lifeline.

Taking a few quiet moments to watch something like this, to really see it, feels grounding in a way that’s hard to explain. Nature is always working, always giving, if we slow down enough to notice.

All the baby seedlings 🌱💛

We’ve got little bits of life growing everywhere right now — inside and outside. Trays filled on our shelves, jugs lined down the house, and tiny greens reaching up wherever they can.

It’s such a special season… full of patience, hope, and a little bit of daily checking in to see what’s new.

We’re getting so excited for planting time and to see all of these little starts find their place in the garden 🌿
