There’s a whole lot of new stuff to discover at Zia’s 👀🇮🇹
We’ve added even more specialty Italian foods to the store, from sauces and spreads to crunchy snacks, flatbreads, and plenty of things you’ll want to bring home and try.
A lot of these items aren’t always easy to find around town, so take a few minutes to browse while we’re making your sandwich. You might come in for lunch and leave with a few new favorites for the pantry.

This traditional, rich basil pesto that works especially well tossed with pasta, but it’s also great spread onto warm bread or used with tomatoes, burrata, or fresh mozzarella.
Good uses: pasta, sandwiches, bruschetta, mozzarella, burrata, tomatoes, or as an easy finishing sauce.
MOTO is based in San Francisco and its sauce is produced near Sacramento, with many ingredients imported from Italy. It was created specifically around the flavor of Calabrian chiles and originally with pizza in mind.
The sauce combines Calabrian chiles with olive oil, honey, vinegar, sea salt, paprika, garlic, and white pepper. The result is medium heat with fruity, smoky, savory, slightly sweet, and tangy flavors rather than heat simply for the sake of being hot.
Good uses: pizza, pasta, sandwiches, eggs, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, seafood, or basically anywhere you’d normally reach for hot sauce.
These bites are designed as both a snack and something to serve alongside cheeses, antipasti, dips, and other Italian foods.
Spicy Garlic: Made with garlic, olive oil, and chili pepper. The garlic provides the main savory flavor while the chili adds a gradually building heat. The manufacturer specifically recommends them for aperitivo spreads, dipping into marinara, or simply eating straight from the bag.
Mediterranean: This version combines rosemary and capers. You get the aromatic herbal flavor of rosemary with the salty, briny flavor of capers. They’re especially well suited to antipasti, cheese boards, dips, or snacking.
