Thanks to your generosity, we raised $3,243.07 for the Davis Schools Foundation through September’s Round Up at the Registers! 🎉

Your spare change helps support local students, schools, and educational opportunities throughout our community. We’re so grateful to everyone who rounded up their purchases and to our Front End staff for helping make these donations possible. All night people came up to our table asking what the vegan cheese was and can they have more.

We told them it’s Rebel Cheese and yes, of course!

We feature the Cave-Aged Brie and Tomato Herb Fromage in our Vegan Love Charcuterie Board, but you can buy both cheeses à la carte anytime of year. They are truly beloved by vegans and non-vegans because they’re just really dang good.

Hi, nice to meet you!

We’re the Davis Food Co-op 😊 a community-owned grocery store in Davis, CA.

Our staff keep the Co-op running 7 days a week and almost 365 days a year! Unlike the chain grocery stores in town, people who make decisions about our business and community live here, work here, and shop here, and can be found here at the store almost everyday. Many of our staff are also Members and two of them currently serve on the Board of Directors showing how invested our staff is in cooperative values and economics. We love you, cooperators ❤️ Thank you for your hard work and dedication always!!

The Davis Food Co-op's Halloween Block Party is October 24th!

Every October, we celebrate Co-op Month and our Members, who have been committed to cooperation in Davis for more than 50 years! We are so grateful for your support and for the opportunity to celebrate our wins together. And by celebrate, we mean party!

It’s a Halloween party, so wear a costume 🎃 and enjoy the following free activities:

Trick-or-treating
Costume Contest
Pumpkin Contests
Photobooth
Live music by Bomba Fried Rice
Free Books for Kids and Cooks
Community Mural
Plus local food and vendors!

Co-op Members can access the VIP Lounge from 5-6 pm for a free drink and snacks.

Bring the whole fam, or your whole dorm, and party like it’s your duty as a good cooperator (because it is!)

That potato had big dreams to become dinner and then a week went by and you forgot about it. Give it a second life as ART 🖼️ 🥔

This craft requires sharp knives and dexterity so we recommend an adult make the stamps, but stamping can be enjoyed by people of all ages! Use stamp ink rollers, pads, or paint. And remember to do all your words backwards so they print right 😅
