🎃🍂 OUR LAST WEEKEND OPEN FOR DAYTIME PUMPKIN FARM FUN! 🍂🎃

We’re heading into our FINAL WEEKEND OPEN for daytime farm events at Rustic White Oak Pumpkin Farm! 🧡 We will be CLOSED during the day on October 31st, but we WILL be open that night for our FINAL NIGHT OF SLAUGHTER FIELDS! 👻🔪

Before the season comes to an end, bring the family out for one last weekend of fall fun! 🍁

🎃 Pick out your pumpkins
🐐 Visit our barnyard animals
🤸 Let the kids play
🍬 Let the kids collect candy at our trick-or-treat stations
📸 Enjoy some fall photo opportunities and make those last farm memories!

🎃 DAYTIME CLOSURE UPDATE 🎃

Due to the rain and wet conditions, we will be CLOSED for daytime activities today. The play equipment and areas for the kids are too wet for everyone to safely enjoy.

We know this may be disappointing, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding! ❤️

🌙 Slaughter Fields will still be open tonight, weather permitting! The daytime activities and nighttime haunt have different setups and conditions, so we’re making the best decision for each.

🌾 Farm Crawl Update 🌾

Unfortunately, The Rustic White Oak Pumpkin Farm will not be participating in tomorrow’s Farm Crawl.

We’re disappointed we won’t get to see everyone who was planning to stop out and visit us, and we truly appreciate your understanding. 🤍

Ivy is a Sulcata Tortoise

Some fun facts-

🐢 They’re the third-largest tortoise species in the world, behind the Galápagos and Aldabra giant tortoises. Large males can weigh 150–250+ pounds, with exceptional individuals exceeding 300 pounds.

* 🌍 They come from the southern edge of the Sahara Desert in Africa, where they survive in extremely hot, dry conditions.

* ⛏️ They are amazing diggers. A sulcata can dig burrows 10–30 feet long and several feet deep to escape the desert heat. These burrows stay much cooler than the surface.

* ⏳ They can live 70–100 years or more, so many owners include them in their estate planning.

* 🌱 They’re strict herbivores. Their ideal diet is mostly grasses, hay, weeds, and leafy plants. Too much fruit or high-protein food can cause health problems and shell deformities.

* 🏃 Despite their size, they can move surprisingly fast—up to about 3–5 mph for short bursts.

The corn is loving all the sunshine and rain we’ve been getting! Watching it grow has been so exciting, and every week it gets closer to becoming the beautiful backdrop for another unforgettable fall season.

We still have some growing to do, but we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Rustic White Oak Pumpkin Farm this fall for pumpkins, hayrides, animals, family fun, and so much more.

Fall will be here before we know it! 🍂🎃
