Hello Folks, it's been a month since I posted that I didn't know if we would Open the Produce Stand this year or not. I have decided NOT to Open. I don't know if you have any idea how much the prices have gone up on Produce but they have almost tripled. Add in gas prices and a small operation like I have just cannot make it.

We went to Memphis yesterday and on the way home we stopped at a roadside Produce Stand in Corinth Mississippi. Man, I thought my prices would have to be HIGH but it is even worse there. We were talking to the lady who runs the stand and she is having to charge $12 for a bowl of 4 tomatoes. That $3 a tomato. $10 for a bowl of 4 squash! She said they have had that Produce Stand for 34 years and prices are worse than they have ever been and it's hurting them bad.

I hope next year things will be different. I have really missed seeing all of you and hope to see you next year.

Hey Folks, just wanted to let you know that we see you driving by and pulling in the driveway at the Produce Stand. We still aren't Open and I wanted to tell you WHY. It's PRICES, PRICES, PRICES!!! The cost of Produce has sky rocketed! Not to mention Gas Prices. Don't get me wrong, I Love doing the Produce Stand and seeing all of you but I need to make a little profit and to do that, I would have to charge prices that I know you cannot pay and that I would not be comfortable asking you to pay. So I say all of this to say...I do not know when OR if we will Open this year. I want to Apologize if you have come over to check if we are Open. If we do Open, I will post on all the Social Media Platforms so keep checking. Thank You for your understanding and Hopefully We will see you soon. Dwight

Ok folks due to the freeze they had down south I have not been able to get fresh produce but I got the call today that starting next week I can get new shipments so Wednesday March 4th we will be open for normal business
