Working until the last flower drops! We have a few stalks of basil left in the herb garden. Soon the hives will go quiet for the winter, but until then the bees are making the most of these warmer days. 🐝

Happy summer! We love this time of year because it means the honey is ready! Beautiful, sweet, and floral, our 2025 raw wildflower honey is ready for purchase at our roadside honor stand here in Crownsville! We also still have 2024 raw wildflower amber honey (darker in color with a stronger flavor but still delicious) from last season available! Winter is generally a quiet time for beekeeping, but on the occasional 60 degree day we get a chance to open the hives and are so happy to see this!
