We are in need of volunteers to help with our Power of Produce booth at our farmers market! You can sign up for shifts here.

It's really easy. Duties include greeting youth and older adults that come to the booth to either sign-up for the first time or check-in for return visits. Then you hand them their vouchers.

Did you know the Power of Produce program has been around since 2018?! This is a beloved program that brings many youth, older adults and families to the market every week.

The Crookston Farmers’ Market celebrated MN Farmers’ Market Week by honoring the sponsors of their Power of Produce (PoP) Program and treating their market visitors to a short program, entertainment, and a light meal. Crookston Mayor Dale Stainbrook read Governor Walz’s proclamation for MN Farmers’ Market Week, and all the sponsors of the PoP program were introduced and thanked for their contributions to the program's success and the market's success. The Power of Produce Program promotes better nutrition by providing vouchers to youth and seniors to purchase fruits and vegetables at the farmers’ market.
