This mama is patiently sitting on her nest, waiting for her little keets! 🐣❤️

Fun Fact: Guinea fowl babies are called keets, and their eggs take about 26–28 days to hatch!

🌈🐾 Our hearts are a little heavier today. 🐾🌈

We have a sad announcement to share with our farm regulars. Today, our sweet old man, Hank, crossed the rainbow bridge. Those of you who have been visiting the farm over the past couple of years know that to know Hank was to love him, with all his old-man scruffiness, big personality, and stubborn little ways.

Hank truly believed he was the boss of the entire farm, and nobody was going to convince him otherwise! Never mind the fact that his little brother was more than 10 times his size. In Hank’s mind, he was the biggest and toughest one around.
He may have been little, but his personality was larger than life, and he sure left some big paw prints on our hearts. Now we’re left wondering who’s going to keep all the furbabies and feathered friends in line. And who in the world is going to steal all the cucumbers and tomatoes like they were planted just for him?

We know so many of you looked forward to seeing him when you stopped by, and we wanted you to know why our sweet, scruffy old man won’t be there to greet you anymore.

Rest easy, Hankipoo. The farm won’t be quite the same without you. ❤️

Something special is coming to Rising Springs Farm this Christmas… 🎄✨

We’ve been working on something we think the kids — and the grown-ups too — are going to LOVE.

We’re not giving it all away just yet, but Christmas at the farm is going to look a little different this year.

What would you love to see at the farm this Christmas? Drop your ideas below.

We’ll share our first big hint later this week.
