I’m posting Brooks Gibbs post here for everyone to enjoy. What a wonderful tribute to her Mother, Myra… in reopening Myra’s Produce Market to be… “Myra’s at Gibbs Farm”…in Cordele at 814 E 16th Ave! :
The following is Brook’s post.
Five years ago, I lost my sweet mama, Myra, to pancreatic cancer. She was the heart of our family…full of grace, grit, and that quiet kind of strength that only comes from walking hand in hand with the Lord. When she passed, I promised myself I would find ways to keep her spirit alive not just in memory, but in the way I live and love every day.

Today, I’m beyond humbled to share that God has placed something beautiful in my hands…a chance to carry on her legacy in a new way. This coming March, Myra’s at Gibbs Farm will open its doors right here in Cordele, Georgia.

From the start, I’ve felt God’s fingerprints all over this. The timing, the space, the peace I’ve felt in my heart — it’s as if He whispered, “This one’s for her.”

Through the spring and summer, we’ll be offering fresh flowers, blooms grown with love and care, just like Mama tended to everything in her life. As the seasons change, we’ll transition into selling our fresh produce, and then in the fall, the farm will come alive with pumpkins, mums, and that cozy feeling of home that only autumn can bring.

This store isn’t just a business to me but it’s a tribute. A way to honor the woman who taught me to love simple beauty, to work with my hands, and to trust that God always has a purpose, even in our deepest grief.

I’m so thankful that the Lord continues to open doors I never imagined for myself and that I get to walk through them carrying her name above the door. Myra’s isn’t just my mama’s name and a retiring store front; it’s her spirit ,her love, her faith, her light living on.

So here’s to new beginnings, old roots, and the sweetest reminder that when God gives you something to steward, it’s never by accident. I can’t wait to welcome y’all to Myra’s this spring and share a little piece of her heart with every visitor who stops by. 💐

THE GOAT HOUSE HAS SOLD… THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ AND FOR YOUR SWEET & KIND COMMENTS ❤️ These are pics of the little Goat House/Play Station that I had custom built to display at Myra’s Produce Market…. and it is for Sale! 🐐 It needs to be moved because Myra’s will become “Rondingos’s Bar B Que” soon (Opening toward the last weekend of April) And the Goat House is in the way of putting in a “Drive Thru”. It was one of my Favorite things about the market especially when we were selling so much of the Silly Goat Cheese. (Some of you will remember that…Such Wonderful Memories😊) Fence and Stationery Metal Goats are included. The little house is all one piece except the goats climbing ladder pole is detachable for easy moving and assembly. It will take 4 strong men and a trailer to move it. Price is $700…. There’s no place like home for Christmas… and although 4 of my Granddaughters were visiting friends in New York and other family members were working… I’m so Thankful my 3 children were here and 4 Grandchildren! Left to right… Shelley, Joshua, Luke, John, Annalee, Emmie Jane, Ashlee and Heather! WE enjoyed having fun and being with each other … celebrating our Jesus’ Birth and All our Blessings from God! He has been So Good to us! ❤️🙏🙌🏻
