We don’t love having to say this—especially with prices already where they are on everything else people have to buy—but we will need to make a small increase to our pasta prices.
This isn’t coming from a place of greed or profit-chasing. Jess and I built this with community in mind, helping to support our local producers, small businesses and to better support our community, not extraction. We keep very little for ourselves, putting most of what comes in right back into ingredients, operations, and supporting the work we do together. Our goal has always been to make an honest living providing healthier better quality options without being exploitative.
That said, the busy season is here, and to keep up we’ll need to bring on additional team members. They deserve to earn a fair, livable wage—honestly, more than Jess and I have been taking. At the same time, rising costs—especially gas, which has nearly doubled—are making it harder to sustain things as they are.
We understand this shift may mean some of you can’t stick with us at the new price point, and we respect that. If and when costs like gas come back down, our prices will reflect that decrease too.
Updated pricing:
Inside Jackson County
Handmade pasta: $16/lb (up from $14)
Flavored extruded pasta: $14/lb (up from $12)
Outside Jackson County
Handmade pasta: $17/lb (up from $16)
Flavored extruded pasta: $15/lb (up from $14)
Even with this change, our pastas will remain more affordable than comparable offerings, while continuing to deliver the quality, flavor, and aroma you’ve come to expect from us.
On a related note, we’re also introducing traditional brass die extruded pastas (What you'll find in pasta shops) at a lower price point: They don't have the added produce or eggs but are still better than anything you can get locally from a store.
$8/lb in Jackson County
$10/lb everywhere else
Thank you for being part of this with us and enduring these shared frustrations with us, we truly couldn’t do it without you.
