It’s a GIRL!!! Meet Rain 🌧️
Born this morning just ahead of the rain. She’s the lightest calf Java has ever had, which makes us wonder if she’ll keep her color or surprise us later.
In the past, one of Java’s calves was born red and turned completely black as it matured!

Time will tell… but for now, Rain is a strong, sturdy, healthy little girl and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her ❤️

Twenty years of farming has shaped me in ways I’m only just beginning to understand.

Now in my 50s, I look around and see so many of my peers numbing out—moody, medicated, worn down. And while I’ve got my aches and pains too, I feel alive.

I think. I feel. I want to feel. I don’t need to suppress anything. I’ve got energy, purpose, and peace—even in the hard stuff.

This life may be tough, but it’s real. And I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
