Ok, now ask me, "What's a farmstead?"

My answer is this: it is the process of homesteading, but you already have a home and you want a farm! So you make a farm in a slow, arduous process, that you love! And you call this process, "farmsteading", because you are not a full fledged farm (more like a fledgling farm).
