Well, last weekend was the community celebration "CrestFest" & we sure missed the co-op being one of the places to go. The staff & customers had such long term relationships. Even though the storefront is closed, we will have our memories.

We found this old photo of the King Ave. Co-op and it brought back many fond memories. We thought we should share it.

Is it possible for a small food cooperative, paying higher cost of goods & needing to keep price margins to reflect what they paid, inventory modest & still stay in business?

The Clintonville Community Market has been closed since Oct. 31, but the owners plan on renting out the space as soon as possible. The Jay family, which owns the building at 200 Crestview Road, has hired NAI Ohio Equities to market the location.

Calling all members & supporters of the co-op. Please join the online auction OR help us spread the word with sharing this post?

The CCM online auction of all of our remaining inventory and equipment is now open, and we encourage you to participate.

Here are details:

The auctioneer, Paul Delphia, has been a co-op member on and off for at least 15 years.
Access the auction at www.pauldelphia.com and register to bid. Over 500 items will be auctioned, and all must go!

The bidding is open until Thursday, Dec. 17th. Beginning at 7 p.m. three items close each minute, unless additional bids are received, which then extends bidding for another 10 min.

Purchased items are to be picked up on Dec. 18th and 19th between 10 - 2, and the 20th and 21st by appointment. Large items can be picked up Dec. 27th and 28th if necessary.

Paul will have an Open House at the co-op this Sunday, Dec. 13th, from 1-4 p.m. to see items. Another will be held on Wed., Dec. 16th, time to be announced.

Proceeds will be applied to pay our creditors. Please visit our page and share this information with others! We are hoping to raise at least $15K from this auction, and your purchases help make that happen! Thank you for your ongoing support.

Paul helps individuals, businesses and other organizations convert assets to cash quickly and trouble free.
