Good morning! I wanted to let everyone know that egg production has slowed considerably with the change in the weather. Therefore, we will NOT be accepting egg orders for the next few months. I have a few dozen eggs promised already and I'll try to fill those orders as soon as I can. My hens will get a much-deserved rest with the shorter days and I will post when we are ready to sell again. I also have a great bunch of young pullets almost ready to go, so it will be a bountiful spring!

We have CHICKEN! As always, they are 100% free-range, pastured cornish cross. This is some of the best chicken you'll ever taste - very different from most grocery store chicken. Cost is $3.49/lb for whole, $3.99/lb cut in half and individually packaged - averaging 4 - 4 1/2 pounds per bird.

Quantities are very limited for this first run so contact me soon and I can deliver this weekend (Springfield area) or Monday (Chicago area).

Who likes chicken? We are happy to announce that we are taking pre-orders for our 100% free-range, pastured chicken! This small-batch variety has a flavor profile that you won't believe, and with a more favorable omega 3 / omega 6 balance than confined birds, the nutrient content is much better too. Orders are in sets of 5 or as part of a family box with beef, eggs and bacon, and.we accept custom orders too - all with free delivery to the Springfield area (other areas too, just ask!)

Did someone say heirloom tomatoes? We've got 'em! We'll be at the Rochester Public Library Farmer's Market tomorrow with these beauties, LOTS of big watermelon, as much okra as I can pick in the morning, a limited number of eggs, plus bacon, grass-fed beef and pork chops. See you in the morning!
