Now that things have settled down for the season we are working full swing on our wedding venue. Its coming along well should have the grass planted in two weeks and the slate pathway laid down.

Paint the Town Series Offering Abstract Painting with a Spring ThemePaint the Town for April will be offering participants the chance to paint a lovely abstract piece titled “Softly Raining”. Bring a friend or make new friends. This social painting workshop helps you to paint a complete picture at an interesting regional location. You’ll go home with a beautiful 16 x 20 canvas piece in shades of blues, purples and corals. No artistic experience or talent is required. All materials are supplied. The workshop will be Saturday, April 14, at Country Hearth and Gardens/Wolf Creek Winery on Highway 11, approximately 7 miles north of SICA just over the county line. It will be from 12:30 – 3:30pm. Budding artists will be using a wet-on-wet approach to achieve the rainy spring evening scene. Advanced registration is required; only 20 spaces will be available. Its a really busy time for us here at Country Hearth and Garden. We are cleaning out the barn for our Walk of the Jack O' Lanterns and starting to string lights! Utopia just booked a demonstration and they are bringing 5 animals to come hang out! Hope to see you there!
