Honoring 41 with some red, white & blue m&m cookies for our train watching this afternoon.

Baking Tip: divide our m&ms in color combos to be frozen and used throughout the year (red/white for Valentine’s Day, green/white for St. Patrick’s, Day, etc.). I am thankful I had some r/w/b ready to go this morning!

Bird’s Bites has always been a family affair, but since having a job/schedule change over the summer, the hubs has REALLY become an integral part of the operation.

Knowing I had a late night and early morning ahead of me, he casually mentioned that he could cut and bake the cookies for me so that they would be ready for me to decorate when I walked in the door. Honestly, I initially doubted is capabilities but he confidently replied, “I’ve been watching you do it for year”! I can’t tell you how thankful I am for this man of mine. He continues to surprise me with his capabilities and the way he so graciously and freely serves our family.

The end product...perfectly cut and baked cookies waiting for me when I arrived home!
