Jujube, also known as seeds of peace or graines de la paix, Djidjim in French, are known to bring peace, serenity and tranquility to those who wear them or eat them.

These grains are frequently used in the Bamiléké culture, during royal inauguration and other ceremonies for nobility.

When twins are born, these grains are given to the parents for protection and peace. They share it with guests and always keep some near the newborn twins.

Jujube is also often used as seasoning when cooking, it’s rich aroma adds great flavor to any meal.
