Good morning! So as many of you know, my background is an art. Art came first from the time I was a little child. I would say in first grade. I remember I did a drawing of an elephant. My teacher held it up in class, and that was all it took. I know at that moment that was what I wanted to do. So my background in art has always played a role in my baking. I think baking is also an art and I try to use my background in whatever I do. Whether it’s presentation or color or making things beautiful. This is what I try to do. Sometimes I even draw in the batter. I’m thinking I should do a whole series of batter art.  I attended Philadelphia College of art from 1970 to 74 and I graduated with a degree in fibers. I love texture and color and composition. Baking cakes brings them all together for me.🎨🎨👩‍🍳👩‍🍳❤️❤️

The photo on the left was taken in 1978. It was for a newspaper article in which we were going to be the feature story. The article was on taking a risk. Which we really did. But we were young and really thought we could do anything. It wasn’t easy, but we managed. We enjoyed spending our days together and working on a dream. We livedin an old converted barn and Skippack and this  is where it all happened. We managed to supply restaurants and gourmet shops all over the tri-state area, including New York. I know I’ve told the story before, but some of you haven’t heard it so I apologize to you if you have. We both left our careers for a while. I was a fashion designer and my ex, Bob was a psychologist. Eventually, he went back to doing what he did best and I continued to bake. The main thing is we managed to have two beautiful children who now have their own beautiful children.
And here I am still baking. We are coming up onto another holiday season and it’s hard to believe. I started in the mid 70s and now I am in my mid 70s. And thanks for all your support.❤️

Good morning! Really doesn’t need an explanation! Color speaks for itself!
I am going to take Hannah for a nice long walk and enjoy the beautiful colors. Perhaps we will go for a ride. Possibly bake something for me with what else but apples!

I will get back to you as soon as possible mini Cheesecakes are $40-$45 depending on flavor for a dozen. Large cheesecakes are 55 and they serve 12 nice ice slices.
