The perfect harvest Friday lunch! Quiona, leftover grilled chicken, cabbage, snap peas, cauliflower, cucumber, feta cheese, and garlic scape vinaigrette dressing! Farm Stand will be OPEN today from 4:30-6:30pm. Today was the largest harvest Friday of 2026 growing season lettuce, kale, spring mix, green onions, salad turnips, beets, carrots, snap peas, green and yellow beans, sweet onions, cucumbers, zucchini, new red potatoes, sweet onions, basil, and dill! Know your farmer, know your food!

The last few days have been extra busy and we are so thankful!
Thankful for safety from the last few nights of storms. Thankful for our customers who support us, are flexible, and willing to help each other!
Thankful for beautiful sunsets over the farm! Thankful for a daughter who grows beautiful flowers and designs the best bouquets!!
Thankful for meals that come right from our farm and are free of any harmful pesticides or chemicals!
Last night we enjoyed Dijon mustard chicken, wild rice, and purple broccolini!
Tonight was eggroll bowl and fried rice! Both were full of cabbage, kohlrabi, carrots, snap peas, green beans, green onions and garlic scapes!
We will have open farm hours tomorrow (Friday) from 4:30-6:30pm.

A post we never like to make… the Plainfield farmers market is cancelled for today. Most definitely the right decision but we will miss seeing everyone at market. Produce box families please check your email for box pick up options!
We WILL have open farm hours tomorrow (Thursday) from 11am-6pm and Friday 6/19 from 4:30-6:30pm. Come see the farm, shop local, and know your farmer! Alette has designed several beautiful bouquets which are available. We have lettuce, kale, garlic scapes, green onions, broccoli, broccolini, kohlrabi, cucumbers, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, yellow beans, eggs, Buddy’s popcorn and more!

Bountiful harvest Friday!!! We are excited for open farm hours today 4:30-6:30pm! Know your farmer, know your food!!! Kids came in for lunch and asked… hey mom can we have a quiona salad with vegetables…yes of course!!!!! Dinner tonight homemade pizza and a romaine salad! Perfect easy dinner!!! Homemade crust, pizza sauce we canned last fall, first onion of the season, garlic scapes, and fresh basil!!!!! Open farm hours tomorrow (Friday) 4:30-6:30pm!

The breeze is beautiful here in Plainfield! It was a busy harvest Wednesday at the farm!!! Our tables are FULL and we even have a few new vegetables! I spy cucumbers, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans and snap peas!!! Alette grew and designed 10 beautiful bouquets for market today too!!!

Planting was the name of the game today!!! Buddy planted his 2026 popcorn! Alette direct seeded a round of zinnias! Sydney planted carrots, salad turnips and lettuce! We got the majority of our cantaloupe and watermelon crop in the ground… 1,400 plants give or take a few! Last night we had a salad with grilled chicken from our friends at Gordon Family Farms! Made a simple garlic scape salad dressing. So good we had it for lunch today too!!!!

Harvest Friday…. Farmers Market Saturday… a sheep show and a pig show! We are busy busy but so so lucky!
Tyler and Sydney are at the Danville Farmers Market until noon today! Stop by the square in Danville! Our tables are full of lettuce, kale, salad turnips, carrots, beets, radishes, green onions, kohlrabi, and MORE!!! Big thanks to Sydney for joining our crazy crew and helping make all the things happen especially growing an abundance of produce and taking the most beautiful photographs!!!
