We close at 6p, so you have until then to get a whole or your favorite cut of chicken never frozen. Think barbecue and putting your favorite seasoning on tonight and grilling tmrw. And speaking of tomorrow, Ruthann will be baking her soft pretzels from 10a - 3p.
If you havn't been able to make it out to the farm, we'll freeze the chicken tonight, and you can pick one up another time.
Some of our favorite fall things at our store:
*home-made booster juices (beet, carrot or kale)
*pumpkin planters with gorgeous fall flowers - you can even take the succulent tops and plant them after the arrangement gets old!
*raw milk - if you haven't tried Farmstead Acres milk, we think it's the best. They're licensed to sell raw milk and you won't find anything creamier.
*pumpkin whoopie pies - what a treat!
Of course we have tons of mums (just fun to say) and gourds of all shapes and sizes and so much more.

For our Fresh Chicken lovers out there - our pasture-raised, non GMO, no soy, fresh-from-the-butchers yesterday chicken is on our shelves. Whole or your favorite cuts, get it before we freeze it on Friday!

Compare our prices to other "organic" or pasture-raised on-line or local grocery.
Whole Chicken - $5.95/lb

Chicken Leg and Thigh - $5.75/lb

For our vegetarian customers, remember that we grow our greens through the winter in our hothouses, and now, we have an abundance of vegetables on our shelves.

It feels like October, so let's get that hot apple c***r FREE to our customers on Saturday! Ruthann will also be making her soft, freshly-baked pretzels and she bakes up a storm, along with her daughters, for every Saturday, so pick up something home-made or canned. Farmer Elmer has all his produce out that's nutritious, delicious and local - all good for your family!

We experienced a beautiful sunrise today to share with you.

We have a new batch of our very popular, all-natural drinks. We don't buy the "organic" certificate, but you can trust that Ruthann uses only organic fruits and vegetables to make them - how about that color! (Our kale infused drink will be on the shelf again soon.) ALL the ingredients are on the label. And because they're so packed with vitamins, and no watering down, we don't recommend chugging them. That's a lot for some stomachs.
