Kai’s Cultured Mushrooms was started in 2012 by Kai Wingo, as a way to inform and teach the community about the benefits of mushrooms. Her goal was to demonstrate how, “using mushrooms as allies, we can begin to conquer many of the challenges we face today.”
Kai’s Cultured Mushrooms is located at Buckeye Mushroom Farm, 2765 E.127th St., in Cleveland, OH. We sell our gourmet, medicinal mushrooms
at farmer’s markets around Cleveland, as well as hold workshops, lectures and other events throughout the year. Our lectures explore the many uses of mushrooms and how valuable they can be to us, from their obvious use as a food source to some of their lesser-known uses in soil development, water remediation, and other sustainability efforts. Our workshops cover everything from affordable mushroom cultivation in your very own home, to cobb oven building. We hope you will join us on this journey into learning about the wonderful world of mushrooms!
