Asian Town Center is an upscale, mixed-use retail destination center inspired by Asian culture, located on 4 acres at the corner of Superior Avenue and East 38th Street in Cleveland, Ohio. until the late 1980’s where they moved to their new headquarters in Independence, Ohio. The building began its transformation from its industrial past to a mixed use retail center in November 2003. Housing one o

f the largest Asian Supermarkets in Ohio, authentic Asian restaurants, shops, offices, a dance studio, and much more all surrounded by beautiful landscaping, ornamental iron fences, and Koi Ponds it was a complete renovation of the building inside and out. Asian Town Center has become a prime example of Cleveland’s past adapted to today’s needs.

In 2024, CloudWater Zendo moved to Cleveland’s Asiatown. This centralized location allows the Zendo to make practice and teaching available to a wider local audience. As the Zendo continues to evolve, we will remain attentive to the needs of the community at large. All are welcome to visit CloudWater Zendo and to explore the various facets of Zen, Pure Land, and general Buddhist teachings.
