First off, I have a new jam inspired by a flavor made by Yelena Noblit for her Living Bread Girl brand. Strawberry Balsamic Jam features the tart deliciousness of balsamic vinegar with the sweetness of strawberries and orange juice! Available this Saturday at the Coit Road Farmers' Market, where I will also be featuring two varieties of Yelena's sourdough breads. $7 for the jam, and $10 for each loaf of sourdough!
Secondly, and more importantly, I'm going to go back to the old way of doing a CSA:
• Pay me $100 today.
• I'll give you a free jar of jam for taking part in the program.
• For the following 10 weeks, you'll receive a minimum of $10 worth of produce (think salad greens, peppers, cherry tomatoes, etc.) every week (though it'll probably be closer to $12-13 worth each week).
• The food wll be packed and ready for pickup at the Coit Road Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings between 9 AM and 1 PM. You are welcome to add to your purchase when you arrive to make your pickup, plus I encourage you to visit our other vendors!
• I can also make arrangements for you to pick up at my home later in the afternoon on Saturday or on Sunday, but, unfortunately, I just can't do any deliveries at this time due to my ongoing health concerns.
This program will begin on Saturday March 29th and run through Saturday, May 31st. I'll start a new 10-week session beginning June 7th.
