IMPORTANT PICKING INFORMATION INCLUDED
Hey Berry Pickers! We are looking forward to another excellent day of picking tomorrow, Friday, June 5th. They have predicted high humidity, so we recommend early morning arrivals to beat the hottest part of the day, or cooling off with a blueberry lemonade or blueberry ice cream after you pick berries!
Going forward we will be including in our picking reports which patches we will be picking in the following day. This is subject to change as patches get picked over or for special occasions (such as large groups, who may be sent to their own patch for picking). Weāve had a lot of feedback from customers who have had trouble finding the best picking spots and we want to make sure we provide as many ways as possible to offer each and every one of you the absolute best picking experience when you visit our farm.
Our staff will continue to give directions and instructions for picking upon arrival, but in case we miss someone or there is an oversight and they do not provide you with the exact rows for picking- you can reference the daily picking report to find the exact location. You can also message us directly.
Soā¦for Friday, June 5th, we will start picking in patches 11&12. Those are the northeastern patches behind the tree line when standing at our store. The rows with best picking are marked āDukeā and numbered rows 9 through 13. When you enter the patch it will be the first 5 rows of large bushes.
Please do not pick in other patches until we open them.
If you feel like a patch is getting picked over, you can send us a DM or let us know at the weigh station during the check out process.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through training many new and hard working employees and as we figure out the best method for making sure everyone has a great experience.
