Bird nets are suspended and tied down over the BLUEBERRIES to keep out the voracious birds. Now picking GREEN BEANS, CUCUMBERS, RED and BLACK RASPBERRIES, and the last of the strawberries. Broccoli, lettuce, ASPARAGUS, rhubarb, green onions, radishes, and root vegetables are plentiful. Local, RAW HONEY, preserves, baked goods, and wildcaught ALASKAN FISH are available. Who knows what else will be ready to pick this morning? There are always welcome surprises at this time of year! Located at 920 Hopewell Road in Clear Brook where Mayfair Farm and Cline’s Farm are doing it better together. Saturdays and Wednesdays, 9-1pm.

The last of the strawberries are ready this Saturday, joining the first Red and Black Raspberries! Tomatoes and cucumbers are ready for you, too. Yes, we grow every fruit and vegetable we sell. Farming is all about faith and promise. You are looking at the very first RED RASPBERRIES of 2026. It has been,and will be, a very challenging and disappointing fruit season, but we will have Red and Black Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries to go along with the strawberries we have been picking. While we wait, I am going to savor every taste of these first raspberries with a bit of cream and sugar. It is the best part of being a farmer! Yours will come soon.

Plenty of strawberries, asparagus, broccoli, lettuce, radishes, green onions, etc. Carrots, beets,potatoes and other root vegetables, eggs,local honey, wildcaught Alaskan fish and more are allat the market. We grow and pick everything we sell, right here at Mayfair Farm in Bunker Hill. Strawberries will be available for a couple of weeks yet, and Black and Red Raspberries are next. We have a full Blueberry crop this year, as usual, and Blackberries are setting fruit. Despite tree fruit losses, we have made the decision NOT to source from outside our location. As small producers, we have the luxury of picking our peaches and stone fruits riper, at the peak of flavor. We do not wish to bring you anything that does not meet our standards. So,we trust you can enjoy and relish all the berries coming over the next months. Figs will be ripening this fall. Take this opportunity to stretch your tastebuds with new flavors and new preparations of locally grown fruits. Open Saturdays and Wednesdays at 920 Hopewell Road in Clear Brook, where Mayfair Farm and Cline’s Farm are doing it better together.
