was established Nov. 10, 2008, realizing the long-time dream (and hard work) of owner David Sklena. The store opened in a rented building at 120 S. with hundreds of different types of candy and the highest of spirits, enthusiasm and optimism. AND to the delight of many! By 2013 David had bought a building of his own and Doc Sweets’ moved up the road to 135 N. Rochester Rd., still in Clawson.

The shop now carries thousands of types of candy; hard-to-find vintage candies, bulk candy in self-serve bins, giant lollipops, novelty candy toys, pinatas, even Tshirts with the Doc’s logo. David’s dream of a real candy store has come true and Doc Sweets’ shop has become a local treasure. It’s THE PLACE for making memories and to reminisce.
