🍂❤️ OK ROOTS HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE ❤️🍂
October is almost here, and before we know it, Thanksgiving will be right around the corner!
This holiday season, OK Roots Farm to Market wants to help make sure no one in our community is left out. A Thanksgiving table may look different from family to family, but everyone deserves the opportunity to sit down to a warm meal. 🦃❤️
Beginning October 1st, we will be collecting food donations for local families in need.
🥫 Canned goods
📦 Boxed foods
🍝 Pasta, rice & pantry staples
🥔 Non-perishable side dishes
🥣 Soups & canned vegetables
🍎 Other shelf-stable, non-perishable foods
📅 Donation Dates: October 1st – November 9th
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26th, which gives us time after the drive ends to organize everything and get food into the hands of families before the holiday.
❤️ Our goal is simple: neighbors helping neighbors.
If you're able, grab an extra can, box or bag of food while you're shopping and drop it off at OK Roots. A few dollars may not seem like much, but when an entire community comes together, those small donations can fill a lot of Thanksgiving tables.
