Two places to get your Amish snack fix today! 🍩🥧🍞

Some of our Amish neighbors will be set up at the First Assembly Fall Market with all sorts of homemade chocolate candies, pies and bread. Stop by and show them some love while you’re checking out the market!

And if you’re headed out to the farm, they’ve got donuts, fried pies, and the usual bread and snacks waiting for you there, too!

Market snacks AND farm snacks? I’m not judging. 😂

🔥 Clearing up a few rumors about Saturday evening’s fire:

The fire was to burn rubbish lumber that had accumulated at the mill. The sawmill did NOT burn, no buildings or houses burned, no tools were lost, and no one was injured.

Several people stopped to check on things, and others drove by slowly to see what was happening. The fire department also came out after being requested to help maintain control of the fire. All of the assistance was appreciated!

I’m still receiving calls, texts, and Facebook messages, so I wanted to share the facts here and put everyone’s mind at ease.

Thank you to everyone who showed concern and checked on our Amish neighbors. Much appreciation for this caring community, and apologies for the worry and commotion this caused throughout the Fairview community. ❤️

Well…I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I’ve just been buried under tomatoes and okra. 🍅😂

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, the vegetables have been keeping me humble.
