⚠️ A quick sourdough update:

Unfortunately, the Cinnamon Apple sourdough didn’t cooperate this week and didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to. As much as I hate disappointing anyone, I also don’t want to put something on the table that doesn’t meet my standards.

If you were looking forward to that flavor, I’m so sorry! ❤️ We’ll be giving it another try soon, and hopefully it will make a successful return in the near future.

Tomorrow is the day! We'll be set up at the Schertz Hometown Harvest Market from 9 AM–1 PM at Pickrell Park, and we've been busy all week baking, cooking, and restocking some of your favorite homestead goodies.

🍞 This week's sourdough lineup includes:

• Original — our classic artisan sourdough with a golden crust and soft, chewy interior

• Hot Honey Parm & Asiago — a delicious combination of sweet heat and savory cheese, loaded with Asiago and Parmesan and finished with hot honey for a bold, flavorful loaf

• Cinnamon Apple — lightly sweet with warm cinnamon spice and tender shredded apples throughout; perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert

All three flavors will be available in both full-size and mini loaves, and we'll have a selection of pre-sliced loaves available as well. Best of all, we'll be offering samples so you can find your new favorite!

🥮 We're also bringing fresh-baked Maple Pecan Scones, filled with toasted pecans and topped with a sweet maple glaze.

🍌 Looking for something sweet? We'll have a few of our popular Sourdough Banana Bread Minis available in both walnut and no-walnut varieties.

🌞 Happy Monday, friends! After a busy and successful weekend, we're taking a little break from regular farmstand hours this week so we can restock, catch up around the homestead, and get everything prepared for next Saturday's Schertz Hometown Harvest Market!

🛍️ The farmstand will be *partially* closed Monday 6/1 through Friday 6/5 while we focus on baking, preserving, packaging, and getting ready for market day. BUT if you find yourself in need of eggs, banana bread 👀, salsa, or other items this week, just send us a message and we'll be happy to arrange pickup for you!

🌞 Good morning, friends! Another wonderful Sourdough Saturday is in the books, and we came very close to selling out! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by yesterday, shared our posts, and supported our little farmstand. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

🐾 While the farmstand will be closed today, you can still come shop with us at the Wags + Waves Appreciation Event from 12 PM–6 PM at Wag Time Boutique, located at 5541 Brewster Street in San Antonio—just about 15 minutes from the farmstand!

🍞 We'll have some of our last remaining sourdough English muffins and jalapeño cheddar mini loaves, AND we also just baked a fresh batch of Sourdough Banana Bread Minis - with or without walnuts!

👩‍🍳 Today I’ll be busy working on those huge, pillowy sourdough English muffins, and I’ve added a new tool to the arsenal — a GIANT 20-inch cast iron pan! I used to juggle three separate pans just to cook 7 muffins at a time, but this monster can hold 10 all at once and should make the process a whole lot smoother (and faster!).

🥚 A couple dozen farm-fresh eggs have been added to the fridge this morning, and our fresh cilantro pesto can still be found in the freezer!
