Well folks, she’s at it again.
For the last couple of weeks, she’s been snorting, puffing, and expressing her disgust.
Her message has been clear:
“Nope! I’m not driving fast. And if you try to push me, I’m going to shake and shudder.”
So the driver has been patiently working with her, trying to keep her calm enough to make her weekly rounds while waiting for these crazy emissions regulations to go away.
But today, when he tried to push her up the steep hill at Goshen Hole, she’d had enough.
She died.
You see, she’s been mad this whole time that she hasn’t been allowed to spill her emissions into the big, wide-open atmosphere. But thanks to new laws taking effect, she was hopeful she’d soon be breathing freely again.
Apparently she decided she couldn’t wait that long.
We are sorry, Cheyenne, but we will be missing you this week while we try to convince this old girl that cooperation is still an option.
Guernsey we still hope to be there Friday afternoon. Stay tuned for an update.
