We have been busy and forgetful. Rebecca forgot all about the garden until last week. And this week she is back at it.

Now we do have 2 different lettuce, peas, and beans growing big and strong. We did have a bunch of peas that died, so Rebecca got those replanted last weekend and they have already sprouted. She also got broccoli and cabbage planted last weekend.

This weekend they are getting the whole garden weeded and finished planted. We have 40 more packs of seeds all different. We know we are a little behind but that has never hurt anyone.

Here on the Farm, we believe in teaching our children everything we know and giving them a strong foundation built on hard work, kindness, and family values. Whether we’re collecting eggs, building new coops, hatching babies, or chasing escaped animals around the farm, there’s never a dull moment here! 😂

We’re thinking it may finally be time for these 5 month olds to move out and get their own place… 😂🐔

They’ve officially hit the stage where they eat everything in sight, argue over the best spots, and act like they own the coop already. Safe to say these babies aren’t babies anymore! ❤️

Watching them grow from tiny fluff balls into a busy little flock has been so fun around here. 🥰

Should we let them graduate to the big kid coop and let the young run the coop? 👀🐓

This past weekend, we worked on building some new enclosures. While working, the kids hold onto our phones since we don’t normally hear them for calls between drills, hammers and saws. Well, one really likes catching videos of the chickens and turkey!

Around here, farming is more than chores and animals — it’s family, learning, and building memories together.

We believe in teaching our children everything we know. From planting seeds and collecting eggs to caring for animals and growing food, every lesson gives them a foundation to build off of as they get older.

Our kids are learning the value of hard work, kindness, patience, and where their food truly comes from. And honestly… there’s nothing sweeter than watching them bite into something they helped grow themselves.
