Hey, hey it's opening day for the Chouteau Farmers Market ! The market area opened at 6PM today, and folks are really showing up today! So stop in, check out our opening day vendors, and grab some food from a food truck and enjoy this May evening at the Chouteau Farmers Market! See ya there!

Only four days till our first market of the season. Remember the Chouteau Farmers Market is held every Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Guy Williams park here in Chouteau. Come support Local!!!

Senior Farmers Market Program applications open today, April 1! 🍎🌽 The online application can be found at shopper.soliportal.com/auth/sign-up/cn or through the Gadugi Portal. The deadline for elders to apply is Sept. 30 or until funds are complete. Elders can start spending benefits April 1 through Oct. 31. A list of authorized farmers market vendors can be found at https://www.cherokeepublichealth.org/Tiles/farmersmarket. Authorized vendors who accept these benefits will also have signage displayed. For citizens needing assistance applying, please contact the Senior Farmers Nutrition Program at 918-453-5590.

WIC clinics will begin issuing Farmers Market benefits to WIC participants beginning today, April 1 through Sept 30. 🥕
Participants may spend their benefits between April 1 and Oct. 31 with participating farmers. WIC Participants receive $30 per participant for the season. Families with a Cherokee citizen in the household are eligible for an additional $150 per household. A list of authorized farmers market vendors can be found at https://www.cherokeepublichealth.org/Tiles/farmersmarket. Authorized vendors who accept these benefits will also have signage displayed. Contact your local WIC Clinic for questions.
