Finally starting to really feel like Fall here at the farm! Only 10 days left in October and we’ve got one more run of pretty pumpkins. We’re finishing strawberry planting today and locking in for some cool, crisp weather.

Are you looking to add a pop of color to your porch, business, church event, or tailgate this Fall? Look no further than our hearty homegrown Chrysanthemums!

“Mums” are beautiful, perennial plants that bloom in Autumn. They smell amazing and are widely used for decoration or to turn a frown upside down! We planted these back in June and they grew very well this summer. They may be replanted if desired and will keep a pretty bloom until first frost (mid November). You can trim them back in the winter and they’ll bloom again next year. Shop local this season for the best fall decor!

We will open today for fall! We’ve got beautiful mums starting to break bloom, decorative gourds and small pumpkins. Produce options are fall squash, cucumbers, summer squash and zucchini, green beans, and muscadine grapes. Plenty of fresh deer corn, jams and jellies, grandmas ice cream.

Soon to come, large pumpkins and heirloom pumpkins, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and corn pit. Our hours this fall are Monday-Saturday 9-5.

Southside Farms 2026 Fall Field Trips includes the following:

~Lesson Time
~Wagon Ride
~Build a Scarecrow (1 per class)
~Corn Box
~1 Small pumpkin per student

$10 per student

$10 per parent

Teachers free

*Grandma Betty’s Homemade Ice Cream/ $5.00 per person*

September 28th – October 30th

Rainy day today but don’t let that stop you from getting fresh produce on the farm. We’ve restocked on Butter Beans & Dixie Lee peas and will have them for a limited time. We’ve got watermelon that was grown right here on our farm. Our bi-color corn is still in stock and we’ve got bushels of it as well as by the ear and we’ve even already got it shucked for you to save that extra step. Stop on by and shop with us!😊
