Happy Wednesday
We got some much needed rain yesterday and the seasons are changing, summer is here and we are loving it! Lots of blueberries, last call on blackberries as their canes are about spent. Picked some super sweet cantaloupe this morning. Tons of tomatoes, fresh cut okra picked everyday, new potatoes, pickling cukes, bell and hot peppers. Watermelon and bi colored corn are growing well and should be ready soon. Grandma is making peach ice cream today and we have a new slushy flavor (lime jarritos) to go along with strawberry lemonade. Hope to see you at the farm!

Summer on the farm 2026 we are excited to move onto the next set of berries here on the farm. With that being said our strawberry season has come to an end this year and we are sad to see it go but happy to know that you all have supported us throughout the strawberry season. Blueberries & BlackBerries are ready for PYO or pre-picked here on our farm in our market. They are ready to be picked & sent off to a good home. We’ve still got good produce in our market for the summer!

Summer came early this year, picking our white sweetcorn “Eden”! $1 an ear, 8$ a dozen

Flatland Ag, Inc. onions now available in our market by the pound. Fresh and super sweet, these onions pair well with just about anything. Super excited to have such beautiful onions grown right here in Beaufort County!

Woke up this morning to wonderful cool temps and beautiful strawberries!

PYO field is empty as of right now, come and pick before the season is over $3/lb. This 3 quarters of an acre field has been picked everyday for the last 65 days! It amazes me how much fruit has come from this one little patch. Thank y’all for doing a great job picking and caring for our plants this year; your patch etiquette has been on point.

We will be picking in buckets after lunch today, maybe for the last time this year! Temperatures are about to crank up on us and it’s time to move our pickers to other produce. Thank you for supporting our team this strawberry season!

Shout out to Luis and Simply Natural Cremery for delivering their ice cream mix to us each week! Makes some of the best ice cream anywhere thank you!
