Under this brilliant blue sky Butchering by Burkhalter helped us harvest a dozen of our birds. Seven excessive roosters, three guinea fowl, and two aging hens; all on site, vacuum wrapped and ready for the freezer.

Justin was a huge help with Paul working so much overtime and we so appreciate their service. They also do deer, pigs, sheep & goats, and hope to someday be able to handle beef.

Caring for these animals day in & day out, noticing their unique personalities, laughing at their quirky shenanigans, and insuring that their lives are safe & happy in the months & years leading up to their harvest has been such an incredible experience for me.

It is an honor to steward over their lives, and I fully embrace all the emotions I feel. On harvest day I can usually be all business, but I admit there are certain birds that are harder than others and I do shed some tears and feel anxious over the decision to end their lives. Yet I carry on with a grateful & humble heart as I personally know their lives have been wonderful and they are providing nourishment for my family in a sustainable way.

Pre-booking required deadline for discount is January 30th deposit required $125. If booked before the 30th of Dec we lock you in at this price all of 2022. We can try finding you animals for processing as well.
(Fixed price goat and sheep as well. $185/head)
Covers: slaughter, processing, and vacuum sealing.

•Chops from one loin and a roast or 2 from other loins.
• pork belly untrimmed
• tenderloins whole
•hind quarter cut down into large bone in hams or use for grind
•front shoulders split into 2 pieces (4 roast)
• ribs
• butt roasts
• scraps packages for you to grind

Those of you may not know I am a board member for Meat Smoking Club of Wisconsin our president brennen Thoma is in the ICU with covid. I am offering up 3 available butchering dates for this month. 18th, 19th and the 26th.
I am willing to run this into January as will.. Pricing is at a fixed rate which is discounted. Each date have 2 available slots for butchering. Pricing is.
$385/pig
$185/goat or sheep.
Cover slaughter and processing with packaging. Within my 50 mile radius

A portion of the profits will either go to the club to help put on an event to help brennen's family or directly to help his family.
