🌟 STAFF HIGHLIGHT: Wyatt! 🌟

☕️ Shift drink & toast of choice: CTC iced tea and Banana Bee toast with peanut butter

🐾 Favorite thing to do outside of work: "I like to stare at the wall and then to stare at my cats when they are staring at the wall"

🫖 Favorite thing about working at Chico Chai: "Getting to come in and see the lovely faces of my coworkers"

Wyatt has been our Distribution Manager since 2014. He's the one delivering chai from Grass Valley to San Francisco. His dedication and hard work keep the chai flowing and his sarcasm and dry wit keep us entertained. He's a big fan of Point Break, Bon Jovi and cats, and in his downtime he emcees trivia nights, as he feels it's just not fair (to the other contestants) for him to compete anymore. We ❤️ you, Wyatt!

We have new teas on our menu! 🫖

✨Silver Needle white tea: Named for the silver-white hairs that grow on these unopened leaf buds. A delicate flavor, notes of raw almond skin (not sweet like almond flavored treats)
- Origin: China

✨ Genmaicha green tea: Green tea + toasted rice and popped corn. Originally the additional ingredients were added to make the tea more affordable and possibly sweeter, but it has since grown in popularity. Nutty, warm flavor notes
- Origin: Japan

✨ Bancha green tea: The third & fourth flushes, or harvests, of sencha. A bit more bold and roasty than earlier harvests, while not actually a roasted tea
- Origin: Japan

* The Word “cha” in China and Japan actually means tea, and is the historical root of the word “chai,” which is why you’ll see it in the names of so many types of teas!

Come try our new teas!
