We have 11 roosters for free. They’re friendly and don’t fight. They will be a great addition to your laying hens to be able to incubate eggs. Come take however many you want!

I learned how to make soap a long time ago from my favorite Aunt Mi Mi. She made everything and I loved learning from her. I haven’t made soap again until very recently after finding a couple selling all of their soap making supplies so they could travel the United States. Looking on marketplace for a dining room table and stumbled across that post… I had to do it! It turned out to be such a great find gaining everything I needed to start making soap except someone else to stir for me! So here I am, making soap for fall to put in the farm stand. Today’s soap is a gentle chamomile oatmeal for sensitive skin, lightly scented with chamomile oil. It won’t be ready for 4 or 5 weeks but I’m looking forward to adding this to our offerings. Fall and winter scents will be following! I’ll keep posting with types of soap and scents. So far I’ve made an all coconut oil bar, goat milk and an olive oil, coconut oil soap. Just testers. One was bourbon to***co. Another was a hunters soap- almond, anise and clove scented. The other was shave and a haircut- definitely manly but clean smelling. I may put them out for everyone to try. Let us know what scents are your favorites and I’ll work on getting some of those out too!

What to do with an overgrown cuke… I stuffed it with a homemade honey ranch chicken salad loaded with banana peppers, onions and celery then topped with parsley, smoked paprika and a crushed saltine. May sound weird but it was really good!

We have a variety of these cookies in the farm stand today. I had a lemon one yesterday and absolutely fell in love. These flavors sound so sweet but let me tell you- they are a perfectly balanced blend of flavors that are just a party in your mouth! Don’t forget, catering is available from Rosalee’s. Come by either location. We would love to see you!

Ohhhh yum! Fresh honeycomb to nibble on! That’s my favorite way to eat honey. We will have this in the fridge so the wax doesn’t melt on the counter starting Friday. Come grab some and throw your tastebuds a party!
