Ok, so- Alisa here- we set up to be open for this four-day yard sale event, mainly because our vendors expressed interest.
$10 space rental per day.
Under cover in case of rain.
Clean bathrooms.
Plentiful parking.
Promoted on the event page, and promoted other businesses in the town.
But only a few vendors actually came.
I have done very well out of my booth & have enjoyed meeting and talking with the folks who came through.
Had the thought too late about inviting a church or group to offer a bake sale or breakfast fundraiser.
This is a huge event, people go up and down 29 for four days.
This location is amazing, and I know we could get more out of it. What really makes it work is the group effort. Sharing posts, telling friends to come by.
I’m committed to trying again when they have it in May. Dates will be May 6-9.
So, please mark your calendars, let me know if you’d like to do breakfast or bake sale, or bring a food truck.
We plan to have a Holiday Market on Nov 17, from 3:00-7:00. This will be more of a handmade & crafters event, but all are welcome!
