Hello, friends! 🌸

The Plainfield Chamber Farmers' Market has been cancelled today due to imminently terrible weather later this evening. This is the second market missed in one month due to volatile weather this spring. For vendors like me whose business is their livelihood, these missed markets have hurt us greatly!

I will still be in Plainfield today from 4pm-5pm, before thunderstorms roll in. If you would like to shop teas, herbs, cosmetics, plants, catnip mice, or fairytale bouquets, I would be very very happy to meet you at the Plainfield Friends Church lawn or deliver an order straight to your doorstep (in Plainfield or between Plainfield and Manhattan Road on 40). We're one week away from our June medicinal herb class for women: Crafting Flower Essences with a Medicinal Herb Ally

Similar to a tincture but much more gentle, a flower essence is an infusion made from the flowering parts of plants which contain the plant’s energetic imprint. We can partner with different flowers to make essences centered around the kinds of physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual support we need.

This two-hour class includes a tour of the late June herb garden, where we’ll learn about a variety of plants in bloom this time of year and how to approach one as a plant ally. Students will then get hands-on experience harvesting their flowers of choice and crafting a flower essence, with an emphasis on reciprocity for our plant allies. You’ll leave class with your completed flower essence, new herb lady friends, and an empowerment from knowing how to connect with an herbal plant ally to make gentle yet powerful medicine!

Beginning next Saturday, you'll find so many witchy creations by Indiana artist Brett Manning Art stocked in our farm stand!! I am such a huge fan of Brett's beautiful and strange art, it's simply a dream hosting her work here at our herb farm.

You'll find various goblins (is there anything cuter???) and whimsical art prints in our farm stand beginning next week! I just know you'll love them all as much as I do! 🍄

Did you miss out on the fun over winter? Does your cat need another fix? Catnip mice are restocked on my website!

Each mouse is lovingly handcrafted by yours truly using 100% wool felt, sheep's wool, cotton thread, and Certified Naturally Grown catnip from our farm. Cats really do love them!
