Most people know artichokes. Fewer have seen the flower.

Once an artichoke is allowed to bloom, it opens into this incredible burst of vibrant purple.

Think you’ve tried artichokes every way? Think again.

Fresh artichokes simmered with crushed tomatoes and red pepper flakes, then topped with a bright pistachio pesto make for a flavorful new way to enjoy one of our favorite veggies.

Autumn has officially arrived at Ocean Mist Farms!

Last week, we kicked off October with one of our favorite traditions: Pumpkin Giveaway Day.

It was a great opportunity for employees to take a break, enjoy some seasonal fun and celebrate the start of fall together.

🌱 GUESS THE VEGGIE 🌱

It's World Vegetarian Day, so we're putting your veggie knowledge to the test.

Can you identify what's growing in these field photos?

No hints. No labels. Just the field.

Drop your guess in the comments below and see if you're right! Answers will be revealed 24 hours after this post goes live.

Bonus points if you can name the crop without zooming in.

Your gut loves artichokes, too. 💚

Artichokes are packed with fiber and contain prebiotics, which help feed the good bacteria in your gut and support digestive health.

A happy gut is just one more reason to add more artichokes to your plate.
