🌻 Thank You for a Wonderful Season at the Carlisle Farmers Market! 🌻
As the season comes to a close, we want to extend our deepest thanks to the Carlisle community for showing up week after week to support this long-standing tradition. Your enthusiasm and presence helped make this year one of our best yet!
✨ We saw a rise in vendor participation, with more local makers eager to share their wares. Thanks to the beautiful summer weather, we also welcomed an increase in visitors—new faces and familiar ones alike.
🎶 A special thank you to the Carlisle Cultural Council for their generous grant that allowed us to sponsor live music throughout the season. Huge appreciation to Mark Levitan for coordinating a fantastic lineup, including:

• Claude Roesgen & Carla Schwartz
Their music created a joyful atmosphere that lifted spirits and brought people together. We’re especially grateful to Lloyd Thayer for sharing his internationally renowned sound with us, and to Russ Turnquist for not only performing with his band but also offering impromptu sets and morning playlists that energized our setup crew.
🙌 Speaking of setup—our heartfelt thanks to our amazing volunteers:
Nick Condron, Sara Dunleavy, Teddy Watters, Gwen & Caroline Watters, and Maddie Malloy. These early risers helped set up tents and tables and returned to break
everything down before the Kimball’s Ice Cream crowd rolled in. Your dedication made all the difference!
🍦 A huge thank you to Kimball Farm for generously providing the parking lot for the past 20 years and allowing us access to electricity for the Musicians and for Nick the Coffee Guy—a true Market staple.

As we look toward the 2026 season, I’m happy to share that I’ll be handing over the reins of the Carlisle Farmers Market. It’s been a joy and an honor to help shape this vibrant community space over the years, and I’m excited for what’s next.
Cara Freedman and Caleb Cochrane will be stepping into the lead roles, bringing fresh creativity, energy, and vision to the Market. Their enthusiasm and collaborative spirit promise to carry the Market forward in wonderful ways. Aaron Dunning will also lend his deep knowledge and experience to the team, rounding out a dynamic trio that’s ready to build on what we’ve created together.
I’m confident the Market will continue to thrive under their care, and I look forward to cheering them on — as a grateful supporter and proud community member.
