For the last few weeks, it feels like we have been moving at warp speed! From our Fall Open House, me turning 30, flea markets, Dolly Day, Punktoberfest, Revivify, Homecoming, SEMO Family Weekend, and so much more, downtown Cape has been hopping and so have we! All of these events have made September and October slip away without me realizing it.
Today, I had a meeting about the Holiday Open House the first weekend of December. It was so awesome to see so many business owners working together to create an event that would rival your favorite Hallmark movie! All of these events together have got me thinking though...
One of my favorite parts of being downtown is the community that is built through the unique businesses, events, and collaboration that inevitably seems to happen down here! From great restaurant, fabulous stores, cool thrifting, scenic views, and more I feel so blessed to be a small piece of the puzzle down here. The holidays will be here before I know it and with it comes more events, gift baskets, and the best kind of exhaustion imaginable! 😇
These next 2 months will be a whirlwind! I am looking forward to all the events coming for the remainder of 2026, both just at Goose and that encompass all of downtown Cape! Over the next week or so, I will announce our events for all to partake in! Holiday hours and days will be announced in the beginning of November with gift ideas and more to come throughout the month. Fan favorites are returning, new traditions will be established, and there will be so much holiday cheer, I might spontaneously become a ball of holiday shenanigans!
