🚛🌷 SURPRISE! It’s not tulip season just yet… but it’s time to get ready for it!

A whole SEMI-TRAILER full of tulip bulbs just arrived, and we’re already dreaming of the beautiful show they’ll put on this spring! 🌷From early to mid to late bloomers, these little bulbs are about to get tucked into the ground, just waiting for their big moment.

Spring may feel far away, but around here, we’re already planting the seeds (well… bulbs!) for something beautiful.

Who else is already looking forward to tulip season?! 🙋‍♀️

🐾 HELPING SHELTER PETS, ONE TREAT AT A TIME!

We recently visited our friends at Animal Charity of Ohio to learn more about the incredible work they do for animals in our community—and an exciting new project they’re working toward!

Animal Charity is raising funds to open its own thrift store, which would help generate ongoing revenue to support its operations. From caring for animals to investigating and prosecuting animal cruelty cases in Mahoning County, their work makes a difference every day.

They’re working toward a $60,000 startup goal and are getting close, with just $13,000 left to raise! ❤️

And a big thank-you to our White House Fruit Farm customers! Through your purchases of GivePet products, you’re helping provide treats for shelter dogs. We stopped by with boxes of treats to share with the pups, and we’re so happy to support an organization doing such important work.

🌰 OHIO CHESTNUTS ARE HERE!

🍎 October Apple Update: We’re Coming Down the Homestretch!

Apple season is winding down in the orchard, but there are still plenty of delicious varieties to enjoy at White House Fruit Farm!

Debbie is sharing what’s on our shelves now, including favorites like Fuji, Cameo, Gala, Crimson Crisp and more, along with newer varieties like Ruby Rush and SunCrisp.

🍎 Meet Melrose! Developed at Ohio State University in the 1940s, this Ohio-grown favorite is especially well known as a baking apple. Look for Melrose through the end of October and into early November!

We’ll also be picking a few final varieties soon, including Braeburn, Jonagold and EverCrisp later this month.

And don’t worry—while orchard season is winding down, apples will continue to be available in the Market well into next year!

Stop by, discover a new favorite, and enjoy the best of apple season while it lasts.

🍂 Planning to visit us today? Here's your Saturday update!

Fall Harvest Weekends are happening, and all activities and offerings are scheduled to be open this Saturday, October 17—with the exception of live music.

A quick note about our horse-drawn wagon rides: one team of horses is expected to be available, and rides may wrap up earlier than usual if demand is low.

There’s still plenty to enjoy at the farm, from pumpkins and pick-your-own apples to food vendors, Farmville Fun, the Gift Barn, donuts and so much more!
