Before the idea for Wi******er Farm Exchange was fully formed I had already fallen in love with the building. Our building owners had walked me through a few times over the course of 6-9 months during their historic restoration/preservation of this late 1800s landmark. We talked about the tenants of years past, including a grocery store called “The Exchange”. I love seeing these old photos and small, hidden gems within our store nodding to the people who respected these spaces and used them in the past, we love all the stories in these walls.

If you haven’t been before, be sure to pop into our vault and see the old transcriptions from years past, tucked away on the back side of the door or find the split in the floor for where the buildings used to be divided.

Preserving and protecting our history, our treasured buildings and stories is one of the most important things we can do to show respect to those who came before us. We are grateful to build out our dreams and pay homage to the grocers before us.

All aboard for a summer-style day trip built for fun. Your Camp Wi******er ticket includes roundtrip strawberry bus transportation to Hann Farms for strawberry U-pick, where you’ll head into the fields and fill your basket with fresh-picked berries straight from the source.

Each guest receives an official Camp Wi******er bandana, a welcome kit, and a special surprise to make the day even better.

After the farm adventure, hop back on the bus to Wi******er Farm Exchange where the day continues with lunch at Sprig & Brie Cafe, plus time to explore and shop around historic downtown Canal Wi******er.

A little nostalgia, a lot of fresh air, and one really good day.
