While everyone else is vacuuming Goldfish crackers out of their vehicles, I’m over here trying to figure out if that smell is feed, wet animal, or pig snacks.

My “mom car” has hauled kids, chickens, ducks, feed bags, baked goods, farmers market supplies, and at least one animal that absolutely wasn’t supposed to be in there.

The dealership sold me a family vehicle. What they didn’t know is that family includes livestock.

At this point, she’s not a mom car anymore. She’s an agricultural support vehicle with heated seats.

What crazy things have you hauled unconventionally?

A little rain isn’t enough to keep us away from the farmers market. While we’d all prefer sunshine, these rainy market days remind us just how amazing our community is. Every person who braves the weather to shop local helps support small farms, local families, and hometown businesses.
