Meet our newest vendor, Cagney from Songs of the Earth. She says, "This time of year is one of my favorites because so many of the spring medicines are ready to harvest". She has been foraging, making tinctures, and preparing new products for the season.

One of her new tinctures is made with burdock root, dandelion root, violet leaf, and other spring herbs to support the body's natural cleansing and renewal processes after winter. It's a wonderful introduction for anyone who is tincture-curious and looking to explore herbal medicine in a simple, approachable way.

She also has a Cleavers & Violet Leaf tincture. This formula is crafted to support the lymphatic system and celebrate the abundance of wild spring medicine growing all around us.

There are also several new salves in the works. Coming soon: herbal massage bars for massage and muscle relief.

Find Cagney near the green footbridge every Sunday!

Lyndsey from Comfort Food Community and Heather from Catholic Charities are going to team up in the Community Tent on Sunday. Catholic Charities will do outreach for preventive care for CDPHP members.
CDPHP members may also qualify for market vouchers that you can use right here at the Cambridge market to get the fresh food you need to stay healthy. Good food is good medicine!

Lyndsey will also share information about Comfort Food Community's other programs (there are a lot of them) and have healthy recipes and educational resources available.

And if you are looking for a volunteer job, check out the Comfort Food Community website. They have a varied list of jobs, including gleaning in local farm fields!
